Situated between the Indian Ocean and the Drakensberg Mountains, the Hilton Durban is housed in a high rise building next to the International Convention Centre, 500 metres from the beach. This 16 storey hotel features 327 guestrooms, all of which have earth tone decor with colourful fabrics and offer ocean and city views. Driving Directions

Regular shuttle buses operate between the airport and the city centre. A taxi from the airport to the hotel should cost approximately 120 ZAR. Buses serve the city, with smaller ones operating throughout the city centre and larger buses heading to the outer suburbs. Minibus taxis operating along fixed routes are plentiful and inexpensive, but can be crowded and unpredictable. Metered taxis are also available and must be booked via phone. Coach and train services, including luxury steam lines, run to Johannesburg, Cape Town and other major towns and cities. Rail tickets must be booked 24 hours in advance.
